Obama releases long form birth document, rips 'silliness' of debate over issue
Wed Apr 27, 2011
Why don't any of these press reports mention that the place of birth is a nonissue when someone is born to an American citizen? That is enough to make someone "natural born" i.e. not naturalized. Lowell Weicker was born in Paris - France not Tennessee.
Report sparks welfare check on heiress Huguette Clark

I see three fallacies in this article or the reader's comments: 1. That Bock did anything wrong in his law partner's estate. Look at the PDF file and you'll see a pattern in his law partner's plan. It's wrong for MSNBC to suggest that Bock did anything wrong in that case.
Why the hype over a sport that's such a bore?

C'mon Mike. Try and understand the game. Soccer played at the world cup level is not boring if you do. It's not slow moving - that's baseball, which is glacial nowadays- that's also the NFL with absurd commercial breaks that make it unwatchable. It's not repetitive - that's the NBA.
How will the U.S. fare at the World Cup?

There is nothing more "boreing" than a one sided stomp that's all but over by the third quarter like most NCAA games and most Super Bowls for that matter. In soccer at least the score is usually close enough to be in doubt until the end or close to it.

Show me someone who thinks soccer is boring and I'll show you someone who doesn't have clue about what he's watching.
A case in which the only winners are lawyers
Thu Jan 21, 2010
I agree that each individual claimant gets very little in most class actions (but defendants pay a pretty good sum in the aggregate), and it seems like the lawyers get a lot (but the amount of work is huge and their overhead probably works out to $300/hour).
A case in which the only winners are lawyers

Come on Steve/Denver, learn the truth. That quote means the exact opposite: In Henry VI, Part II, (Act IV), Scene 2, those words were said by Dick the Butcher, a follower of anarchist Jack Cade, who sought to overthrow the government. It was the equivalent of the 1960's rant, "Kill the Pigs".
